Polymechanics are skilled personnel in various areas of activity whose tasks in the workplace differ accordingly: for example, they make a wide range of workpieces as well as special tools and jigs for production lines. To do this, they employ modern, often computer-controlled machines and robots. They determine the work steps needed for the manufacturing, produce programs, set up robots, monitor and optimise the production processes.
